These are some bitmap examples of two of the photographs I like the way these Have turned out. I feel the landscape fits really well as starting point for my face and I could layer things on top.
I really like this photograph of my sister but I feel like it would be nice to manipulate it a little - possibly cutting things out.

I was looking through my archive of photographs and family pictures and found theses. The four on the left are members of my family one of which is me. I'm not quite sure what to do yet but I'm think about using the photographs I've taken of beautiful scenery (Central/South America) and somehow incorporating them with family faces.

I like the simplicity of this as well the bitmap style. I like how the face has been reordered.

I like the use of mixed media with this piece. Its quite a simple concept but the flowers for eyes is an effective look.

I like the idea of using black and white with bright colours layered on top.

I like the idea of incorporating type into this. The variety of the designs I like as well as the worn out texture given by screen printing?letterpress?

I love the pop of colour and the doodle bomb style. I feel like layering bright colours on top of an image is a nice Idea.

The use of a single font to create faces I a nice idea. Making faces out of objects you wouldn't think could create a face is nice thing.

I picked this out because of the bitmap texture created for the screen printing. It has been finished very well and will look at it for pattern inspiration.

Again like with the previous one I like the texture created with this. I also think that printing on paper that isn't just white is a neat idea.

I like the manipulation of this. It's a puzzle and think it's a clever way to distort a face.
As I've mentioned I want to make a screen print relating to this project that involves some of my own work. These are some styles of mixed media that I found. I think using these type of styles could work well for creating my final face.

My favourite collage I did consist of three different layers, I have split this up in the way they would need to be if I wanted to screen print it. These would be ready for print onto acetate should i wish to use these. I may have done some the layers too small for it to work for screen printing but that would be a quick fix by changing the bitmap.
Whilst I quite like the way this looks and I think it would be a nice screen print I feel that I want to do something more personal to me and it including work I have done rather than just collecting other peoples work.

These are my initial face collages. I like the layering on the one on the right. I feel with some tweaking of the layers/colours it could work really nicely as a screen print. The one on the right would be nearly ready to go. I like the bold angled lines going across Slowthai.
However with both of these it's just been a case of layering and adding different bitmap layers. I would like to create something with more to it.

These are some faces and assets I've chosen to further my face collage. I wanted to do a digital collage as it allows me manipulate the images further than if I were to just cutting things out.
